The traditional catalog of print materials is searched via OneSearch. Search by title, author or topic. 

Find the Book on the Shelf

In order to locate a book on the shelf, you will need to note three things: 

  1. Availability. This indicates whether or not the book is actually on the shelf. 
  2. Collection. There are separate collections for different formats and uses. Use the Library Maps to help locate a collection. 
  3. The book's call number. With the exception of the Curriculum Collection, our collections are cataloged by Library of Congress. In the example below, the call number is GB 671 .T34 2006

Each of these are found in the Find It section of the item record.
