Borrow and Renew

Print items are checked out at the Front Desk with your WSU ID, courtesy card, or ID from another MNPals library

Check-out Periods

Students, faculty and staff can check out:

  • Main Collection books for 91 days
  • Curriculum Collection books for 7 days
  • DVDs for 21 days

Books may be recalled at any time after 28 days. Resource sharing items are determined by the lending library.

Due Date Notifications

Krueger Library sends due date notifications to the email address associated with your library account.

Everyone is responsible for returning library materials by their due dates. You may check your due dates any time by logging onto My Account

Renewing Items Online

Materials can be renewed three times. Renewals may be denied if the item is requested by another patron.

To renew items online:

  • Go to My Account and log in using your StarID and password.
  • Select your name from the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Select My Loans from the menu.
  • Select the Renew link next to the item you wish to renew.
  • You can renew more than one item by using the check boxes in front of the item, then choose Renew All.

Overdue Items

Students and Courtesy Card Holders

After three overdue notices your library account will be blocked. A hold and a charge will be placed on your university account. The charge will be either the value of the item or $100.00, whichever is greater.

Library account blocks and university account holds can be removed by returning the material to the library and/or paying any charges at the WSU Warrior Hub. If material that has been paid for at the Warrior Hub is later returned to the library, refunds may be granted at the discretion of the library.

Overdue reserve items may result in a blocked account at any time. Blocks will be removed if you return the overdue item.

Faculty / Staff

If an item is overdue for seven days, your library account may be blocked.

Resource sharing holds and charges are determined by the lending library.
