HIST 398: Pirates, Explorers, and Empires in the Early Modern World

Example Monographs

As you search for monographs on your topics, one great way to start is to find a book you already know up in the stacks! Look on either side of it, and see how other books on your topic/similar topics are shelved in the same area. This short list is only a starting point.

Book Catalogs

You can search the library catalog (OneSearch) to find books. There is a help-guide for this, too!

You may be able to find journals, articles, and videos that the Library has access to using OneSearch; but, certain settings will need to be adjusted on the side-bar to narrow and expand your search. If you reach a dead-end, do not be discouraged. If the library does not have access to something, there may be a way to borrow it from another library.
