Scheduling a Video FAQ

WSU Faculty and Staff can schedule videos for in-class use.

How do I schedule a video for my course?

  • Search for the video by title in the library catalog. The catalog record will indicate if the video is checked out or in a Course Reserve.

  • Once you've determined that the video is available, Email the WSU-Library Front Desk at library@winona.edu

  • When a video is "scheduled" for classroom use, the video will be blocked from circulation six weeks prior to the event. This ensures the video is ready for you when need it.

  • If you need help determining whether the Krueger Library has a video title, please email: library@winona.edu

How far in advance should I schedule a video?

  • Please submit your scheduling request, at least, two weeks before the class viewing.

How do I get the DVD or video?

  • We deliver the video or DVD to you. Videos are delivered to your department office the day before the scheduled viewing. Videos for the West Campus and Rochester will be sent to your campus office. During the pandemic we can mail the video to your home. All we need is for you to request this service and email us your mailing address - library@winona.edu
Note: that our policy is that you are responsible for the video return either directly to the library or via the mail (postage needed).
