OMIM is produced by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, which is within the NIH. It allows users to search a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders with links to PubMed and sequnce records. ENCODE Project at UCSC is a data portal to access genome information from the Encyclopedia Of DNA Elements, which was started by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) to identify all functional elements in the human genome sequence.

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) model organism ENCyclopedia Of DNA Elements (modENCODE) Project will try to identify all of the sequence-based functional elements in the C. elegans and Drosophila melanogaster genomes.

A public repository for a wide range of high-throughput experimental data including single and dual channel microarray-based experiments measuring mRNA, miRNA, genomic DNA (arrayCGH, ChIP-chip, and SNP), and protein abundance, as well as non-array techniques such as serial analysis of gene expression (SAGE), mass spectrometry peptide profiling, and quantitative sequence data.

A "biological systems" database integrating both molecular building block information and higher-level systemic information. This site has data on many genomes that have been sequenced (from humans and chimps to Nanoarchaeota), as well as cellular protein data. Easily jump between organisms in an exploration of a sequence.
