Search in a Database
When searching for book reviews in databases, you can limit the date of publication, such as only retrieve reviews published the year the book was released up to a few years after.
In some databases you can refine your search to document type, such as Book Review; go to the Advanced search to refine document type.

Broad database with both academic and general articles. Many are full text, but some are citation only.

From the Modern Language Association. Bibliography of journal articles, books, websites, and dissertations. Coverage includes literature from all over the world, folklore, linguistics and language materials, literary theory and criticism, dramatic arts, and history of printing and publishing.
