Introduction to RefWorks Webinar

Learn how to create a RefWorks account, export citations from popular databases, organize citations in RefWorks, and use RefWorks to cite your sources and create bibliographies in Word. A webinar offered by Krueger Library.

Getting Started with RefWorks

Accessing RefWorks: Click here to access RefWorks.

  • From the Library's homepage, click on RefWorks under the Quick Links drop-down.

Off-campus Access:

  • If you are off-campus when attempting to login to RefWorks, you may first be prompted to authenticate using your StarID and password, then to log into your personal RefWorks account. If you're using Write-N-Cite from an off-campus location, you may need the WSU GroupCode to log into your RefWorks account, which is RWWinonaSU.

Creating an Account: New users must first create an individual account in order to use RefWorks:

  1. Click on Create Acount
  2. Enter your WSU email
  3. Enter a password (it doesn't have to be your StarID password) and click on Sign Up

NOTE: A confirmation email will be sent to you with your user login, password, and the Group Access Code for off-campus access.
