Reference Sources

Reference sources are used for three basic purposes. The are useful to provide simple facts: dates, numbers, names; that sort of thing. Secondly, the can provide narrative overviews of events and major themes.

Getting started: use the library reference collection

Here are some books that may assist you as you begin your research. These are located in the Reference Collection on the first floor of the library, and can't be checked out of the library.
